YouTube Region Restriction Checker
Check Region Restrictions
Find out which countries can watch a YouTube video and where it's geo-blocked.
Supports: youtube.com/watch?v=, youtu.be/, Shorts, Embed URLs, and bare video IDs
Privacy First: Your files are processed securely. Whenever possible, processing happens in your browser and files are never stored on our servers.
Instantly check where in the world a YouTube video is available and identify every country where it's geo-blocked. Enter any YouTube URL or video ID and the tool fetches live data directly from YouTube - no API key or sign-in required. Results show whether the video is available worldwide or restricted, the exact count of available and blocked countries, a global availability percentage, a regional breakdown across Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania, and a searchable list of every blocked and available country with its flag and ISO code. A copy-to-clipboard button exports either list as plain text. Useful for content creators verifying their distribution settings, music producers checking label restrictions, viewers investigating why a video is blocked in their country, and rights managers auditing content availability across regions. Region restriction data is extracted from the embedded ytInitialPlayerResponse JSON that YouTube includes on every video page - the same data your browser reads when you watch a video.
