Enter any URL or domain name to check whether a website is currently online or offline. The tool makes a live HTTP request via a global proxy and returns the exact HTTP status code (200, 301, 403, 503, etc.) with a plain-English explanation, the server response time in milliseconds with a Fast/Moderate/Slow rating, the Content-Type and page size from response headers, and the final URL after any redirects. A color-coded status banner instantly tells you if the site is Online (green), Responding with Errors (yellow for 4xx), or Offline/Unreachable (red for 5xx or no response). DNS Records are fetched in parallel from Google's DNS over HTTPS API - A records (IPv4 addresses), AAAA records (IPv6), MX records (mail servers with priority), NS records (name servers), and TXT records (SPF, DMARC, domain verification tokens) - all with their TTL values. A session history panel tracks your last six checks with one-click re-check. Every field can be copied to clipboard with one click. No login, no account, and no data stored - every check is performed live in real time.
How to Use
- 1Type or paste any URL or domain into the input box - you can include https://, www., a full URL, or just a bare domain like github.com
- 2Click 'Check' or press Enter - the tool pings the server and fetches DNS records simultaneously (typically takes 2–6 seconds)
- 3Read the status banner at the top: green 'Online' means the site is up, yellow 'Responding with Errors' means the server replies but with a 4xx error, and red 'Offline' means the site is unreachable
- 4Check the HTTP Status card - it shows the exact status code (e.g. 200, 404, 503) with a plain-English label
- 5Check the Response Time card - Fast (under 500ms), Moderate (500–1500ms), or Slow (over 1500ms) tells you how quickly the server is responding
- 6Check the URL Details section - if the site redirected you, both the original URL and the final destination URL are shown with a 'Redirected' badge
- 7Click 'DNS Records' to expand the section - see A (IPv4), AAAA (IPv6), MX (mail servers), NS (name servers), and TXT records with TTL values
- 8Use the copy icon next to any field to copy IP addresses, hostnames, or TXT record values to your clipboard
- 9Scroll down to see 'Recent Checks' - your last 6 checks are listed with status, response time, and a Re-check button
- 10Click 'Re-check' on any history entry to re-run that check and get fresh results instantly
