Privacy First: Your files are processed securely. Whenever possible, processing happens in your browser and files are never stored on our servers.
Master all 118 chemical elements with an adaptive quiz tool. Four modes: Multiple Choice (pick from 4), Symbol → Name (type full name), Name → Symbol (type the symbol), Atomic# → Symbol (type symbol for an atomic number). Three difficulty levels: Easy (elements 1–20), Medium (1–54), Hard (all 118). Filter by category: alkali metals, alkaline earth, transition, post-transition, metalloids, halogens, noble gases, nonmetals, lanthanides, actinides. Optional per-question countdown timer (5–60s). Streak counter with flame indicator. Spaced repetition: missed elements are stored in localStorage and weighted 2–3× higher in future quizzes. End-of-quiz review shows all missed elements with correct answers. Score, accuracy, and best streak displayed on results screen.
How to Use
- 1Select a quiz mode: Multiple Choice is easiest to start with
- 2Choose a difficulty: Easy (elements 1–20) for beginners, Medium for intermediate, Hard for all 118
- 3Optionally filter by element category (e.g. Noble Gases or Alkali Metals)
- 4Click 'Start Quiz' - each question shows the prompt and you select or type the answer
- 5For text-answer modes, type your answer and press Enter or click Check
- 6After the quiz, review all missed elements - they will appear more often in future sessions
